Apollo dying was a hell of a thing. Still kind of fucks me up thinking about it. I was an American kid who grew up with Rocky. That "mean Soviet" killing Creed was a terrifying moment in my childhood. Rocky saved the day, and thus my childhood.
And I still think there was something profound about that 4th movie. As fucking silly as it sounds, "If I's can change, and you's can change, everybody can change" is a hell of thing to be spouting in a USA vs USSR boxing movie in 1985...
