Blah, lame teaser
See?, I tried to BE in it. Applied several times for an audition for the part of Hodor, but never got the chance. Figured being over seven feet tall I would at give it a shot.
Apparently they are not casting that role for the first season, but what would ASoIaF be without Hodor?
I'm looking forward to it, but it's only a like 15 seconds of footage. Still, nice to see that they're starting to ramp up their commercials and advertising.
"Apparently they are not casting that role for the first season"
They are casting the role. Hodor appeared on casting call sheets and a video of one person who auditioned for the role leaked a while back (check back on the Winter is Coming blog site for it).
They are, however, very strictly limiting their casting for 'secondary' and minor roles to the Republic of Ireland and the UK. If you are outside that area, it is unlikely they would consider you.
News to me, I only know what I received from the casting department. Which wasn't much. Glad to hear there will be a Hodor though...
ça déchire le colon de l'intérieur !
