You can now download Nancy Kress'
Beggars in Spain, the novel-length version of the novella for which she won both the Hugo and the Nebula Awards for 0.99$
here.
Here's the blurb:
In a world where the slightest edge can mean the difference between success and failure, Leisha Camden is beautiful, extraordinarily intelligent ... and one of an ever-growing number of human beings who have been genetically modified to never require sleep.
Once considered interesting anomalies, now Leisha and the other "Sleepless" are outcasts -- victims of blind hatred, political repression, and shocking mob violence meant to drive them from human society ... and, ultimately, from Earth itself.
But Leisha Camden has chosen to remain behind in a world that envies and fears her "gift" -- a world marked for destruction in a devastating conspiracy of freedom... and revenge.

Cheers for finding and posting so many offers for e-books. I've already bought 5 of them, and even if I don't like them it's worth it.
Thanks,
Harry

In Greece, where I live, for example these offers are not valid :S

Anonymous - I think Pat limits himself to posting US discounts from Amazon here. Sometimes they also apply in other countries or at other sellers, but not always. I guess if he spent all his time checking every seller in every country for discounts he wouldn't have time to read and review books :)
