Did you ever read this series? The author revisited the world with a concluding trilogy that felt a bit anticlimactic and a letdown but I remember really enjoying the first series. I was thinking about a reread soon.
I remember reading the first volume, maybe the second also, was back when. But I never finished the trilogy. It's been over 20 years and I can't remember anything about the plot.
