New UK cover for Erikson's DEADHOUSE GATES

This isn't really breaking news anymore , but I just realized that I never got around to posting this one.

I haven't been able to get my hands on the other ones yet. . .

So now books 2, 6 and 7 in the series are available with the new UK look? Still quite a ways to go before I can put together a whole set with only these new covers then.

Wait, I found this on amazon.co.uk:

To be released in February 2008, but still. Only three more to go then.

The UK covers are good and original, but what do you think of the Bulgarian cover of the book:

I think it is good too.

It's way too disgusting to even comprehend actually :)

Books 1-5 have now been reprinted with the new cover design, but they're making their way out to the bookshops in fits and starts as the stores work through their stock with the old covers. I've seen 1, 2 and 4 on the shelves but not 3 or 5 yet. 2 and 4 have the same covers as the originals, just with the new typeface.

3 is very similar to 7, but with a warrior wreathed in fire (a bit odd on a book called Memories of Ice but there you go). 5 is a bit odd, a huge cube-like structure sitting in the same water as on the old cover of Book 5. I think it's supposed to be a Meckros City or something.
