Far Territories is a new imprint from Subterranean Press which will offer heretofore expensive limited edition titles in affordable trade paperback format.
Thanks to Bill and the rest of the Subpress crew, I have five copies of their first two titles, Tad Williams' Rite (Canada, USA, Europe) and Elizabeth Bear's New Amsterdam (Canada, USA, Europe). Please note that the trade paperback edition of Rite doesn't contain all the material which could be found in the original limited edition.
The rules are the same as usual. First off, you need to send an email at reviews@(no-spam)gryphonwood.net with the header "RITE" or "AMSTERDAM," depending on which title you'd like to receive. Yes, you can register to both contests. Remember to remove the "no spam" thingy.
Second, your email must contain your full mailing address (that's snail mail!), otherwise your message will be deleted.
Lastly, multiple entries will disqualify whoever sends them. And please include your screen name and the message boards that you frequent using it, if you do hang out on a particular MB.
Good luck to all the participants!

That is an excellent idea. I've really wanted to get some of the SubPress editions...but damn those prices, especially the ASoIaF editions. Will the trade PB's still have all of the illustarions/etc of their big brothers?
I'm not sure, but I doubt it. That's what makes the limited editions so special...
The numbered, lettered, blood sealed +5 Stamina fleshbound aspect certainly doesn't hurt either for making those "limited". I wouldn't thunk throwing some pictures into the TPB editions would hurt the others exclusivity.
I keed I keed :P
