I've been hearing a lot of good things about Ekaterina Sedia's The Secret History of Moscow, and I was pleased when I was able to get my hands on a review copy, compliments of Prime Books. Needless to say, this novel deserves all the praise it has garnered, and more! Much, much more, in fact.

Good review once again.
I wonder if you read Sergei Lukyanenko's books who is also a russian author. I didn't manage to get his books yet, but I saw the film adaptation of "The Day Watch" and "The Night Watch" and it looks great.

I have my eyes on this one...the setting and the story seem very compelling to me. nice review though.
I did read read Lukyanenko's THE NIGHT WATCH, which was excellent!
I have the two sequels on my shelves, waiting to be read...
well, I'm happy I won and can't wait for the books to arrive!
thanks a lot,
Matthias
Finished reading the book.
Extremely boring book. more than 300 pages and nothing happened. Characters are not interesting.
Disaster.
Although people who liked American Gods might like the book.
