It appears that Erikson finally made it on this side of the pond, folks! Next week, Dust of Dreams will squeeze in at number 35 on the NYT bestseller list!=)

Next time you talk to the publicist, them him/her that the publisher needs to get all the Erikson books on the Kindle store! It's a great way to read otherwise extremely large volumes of material, particularly when we're talking about the Malazan books.

Here's another hurrah for Erikson, and another vote for getting those damn books on the Kindle. Him and Bakker both. In fact, many great fantasy authors are MIA on eBooks, which is a damn shame.

It would probably be higher if Erikson would sell release his books either first in the US or concurrently with the UK edition. I order his stuff from Amazon.co.uk because it comes out so much earlier across the pond.
Congrats to Erikson!! Does this mean that the 'Malazan Empire' movie with Cameron Diaz, Paul Walker and Eddie Izzard will start production soon? Gods, I hope not.

I am still confused. Do I like the novels or not? They are hard to figure out, but I like reading them all the same. I couldn't understand 90% of "Gardens of the Moon", but "Deadhouse Gates" is a little better in that regard. I'd like to check online for clarifications to the plot, factions, and characters but I am afraid I'll bump into spoilers.

FINALLY. I wish SE amasses a mountain of money for writing this series. With due respect to all other fantasy series, there's nothing quite like this one. That being said, my personal favorite remains "The Prince of Nothing" series.
