Another review!

Speculative Horizons just got another positive review, this time from Ken at The Neth Space:

It’s always tough to judge an anthology, especially one with such a wide-range of contributions. Overall, Speculative Horizons is solid, containing no duds and a couple of gems, though with only, five stories, it’s not a big collection. For me it was worth it just to see what blogger St-Denis put together with the bonus of money going to a worthy cause. If that isn’t enough for you, know that the contents are quality, if short of excellent. But the real surprise was the commonality between the stories – it was an unexpected gift that really bonds this group of unusual suspects and makes me think on the implications for the genre as a whole.

Follow this link to read the whole review.

If you want to support the cause, or if you are just curious and wish to give the anthology a shot, it's now available for pre-order via the Subterranean Press website. Otherwise, if you want to get it at a discount, it's also available on various Amazon sites: Canada, USA, Europe.

But keep in mind that Subpress gives priority to those who purchased the book directly via their website. Which means that they often can't honor the orders from other online retailers.

As I mentioned yesterday, my cousin died of cancer a couple of weeks ago. So many thanks to everyone who has already bought the anthology and to those who will be purchasing the book. It means a lot to me. . .

Just put a pre-order on Subterranean's website. Even though you never answer my e-mails :p

On a more serious note, I think the cause is worth it, and this is half of the reason for this particular purchase. Also, I am sorry for your loss.

I just thinking to myself, "why can't I find a book I can get excited about lately" and then saw your post. This looks really good!

So sorry about your cousin.
