Terminator Genisys trailer

Geeks are getting excited left and right. The problem with geeks is that they seem to have very short memories. After the travesty that was Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, why the heck should anyone get excited about this movie??? Everything in the trailer screams of déjà vu. . .

I guess you're a geek then given that your memory isn't good enough to remember that there was a Terminator 4!

Oh, I remember! Thankfully, Arnold wasn't in it. But even Christian Bale couldn't save that one. :/

So I have zero expectations for this new addition to the franchise.

It looks like an amalgamation of the first 2 Terminator movies.....

So this looks like a mash-up of Terminator and Back To The Future 2. Switch out John Connor with Marty McFly and the Terminator with Biff and there we go!

Now we have had two women cast members of Game of Thrones play Sarah Connor, Cersei aka Lena Headey who played Sarah Connor from the Sarah Connor Chronicles on Fox and now we have Daenerys aka Emilia Clarke playing Sarah Connor.

And hey, we did have Arnold's face in Terminator Salvation on the Terminator in the factory, ha!

I will not be able to force myself to see this movie. One last question by watching the trailer: how does the CGI from 2014 look so much worse than James Cameron's Terminator 2...from 1991.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles was actually a very good show, with some mind-bending twists. Too bad it never went farther than S2, but it was much more daring than the T4 with Christian Bale.

the third and fourth movies were not bad by themselves, i don't get what people are so upset about. as soon as they made the first scene in 3 they already ruined the timeline of the first two, but time travel is a warped thing to put into movies (or books) to begin with, right tasslleh... i mean ah fizba... ah never mind.
it just never works (unless it's funny like back to the future).
