Since many of you have been encouraging me for months to do more interviews, and since both interviews with Peter Orullian and Mark Lawrence have been well-received, I just wanted you to know that I'll be teaming up with a number of my usual partners in crime to bring you a few more in the near future.
So you can expect interviews with Joe Abercrombie, Steven Erikson, and Paul Kearney in the coming weeks. Patrick Rothfuss is down for a Q&A. But now that he's a number 1 NYT bestselling author, the request must go through his PR people.
There will probably be another one with R. Scott Bakker, as well as a few others that I need to inquire about. . . =)

Rothfuss better do the interview, since it is precisely because of this hotlist that I first heard about him at all!
It would be the "returning home" of interviews for him, I'd imagine :D
Damn, some seriously great authors you have lined up. :D
Bakker would be good. Question number one should be why in the hell has he taken away the Kellhus POV? The Aspect-Emperor was extremely well written but frustrating. Kellhus IS the story and I am sure many other readers felt the same after reading PON. To then remove the most important character as a POV took so much away from the story. And given that you have expressed the same structure is present in The White Luck Warrior I wonder if we will ever see a return to the Kellhus POV. As talented as Bakker is another book full of Esmenet and Drusas is a bit disheartening. I will still follow the story regardless because quite simply Bakker one of the very best writers in the genre but again I believe removing the Kellhus POV was a mistake.
3rdl: Funny you should remove your first comment. Given that on SFFWORL.COM you can't even admit to some flaws with TWMF, I had to laugh when you said that Rothfuss shouldn't give Pat an interview and that his review sucked and all that.
Joe Abercrombie rocks.... and yes i heard about him right here. Thanks Pat for all the great reviews. looking forward to the interview.
