Being able to converse with cats was Nakata's little secret. Only he and the cats knew about it. People would think he was crazy if he mentioned it, so he never did. Everybody knew he wasn't very bright, but being dumb and being crazy were different matters altogether.

Ahhh, one of my all time favourite books! In a class of its own :)
This book may have scarred me for life. It is one of those books you either love, hate, love that you hate, or hate that you love. It is quite the read.
I obviously need to read the book. We have a cat and if it could talk it would only talk about itself, I'm sure.... What else is there to a cat?
