Musical Interlude
Most Metallica fans these days don't even know who Cliff Burton is. . . :/
This is the song that made me fall in love with the band. A pity they went commercial. . .

Yeah, "St. Anger" and "Death Magnetic" - commercial.
*sigh*
Great pick - although it's Cliff's last album, the musical masterpiece that is Master of Puppets, which sticks with me the most.
If Dave Mustaine had been able to stay and Cliff was alive, Metallica would have continued to write such beautiful music that no band could come near to their talent.
Just saying...
Good old Metallica. Sigh. A love lost.
So fortunate to have seen them twice with Cliff- once during Ride the Lightning and then opening for Ozzy on the Master of Puppets tour.
We can only imagine the awesome music he would've made...
