Thanks to Gillossen from http://www.elbakin.net/ for the "heads up!"
Laurent Sieurac posted a few sample pages of the upcoming French graphic adaptation of Robin Hobb's first trilogy. On this last page, you can see the Fool, King Shrewd, Prince Regal, Prince Verity, Burrich and Molly.

Not so sure I like it - looks a bit too "classic".
Thanks for sharing these pages with us. It looks quite good. :) (I am of course spreading the word further by blogging this at my Hobb site and linking to your article.)
Ergh, looks bloody awful! Transferring a novel of such introspective detail and complexity would be damned hard, let alone three!
I'm not a fan of graphic novel adaptations of novels anyway, so maybe I'm biased.
To each their own though.
Glad Robin's work is spreading beyond books. Perhaps it will gain her a broader audience in the end, bringing more people to her work.
Ca manque de couleurs, je trouve ! J'aurais préféré un style Thorgal... C'est drôle, à la lecture, je fantasmais beaucoup sur un dessin animé Assassin Royal (peut-être parce que la lecture me semblait longuette par moments).
To Canthidle:
I can't speak French but did you say there would be an anime of Royal Assassin?
Hi, will this be released in english? If so when?
Nettle was just dreaming about an anime.
As for an english, the books being published by Soleil, which made a deal with Marvel, a release could be possible.
