Yes, Rothfuss' The Name of the Wind won the Quill in the fantasy/science fiction/horror category.

Just finished Name of the Wind and loved it. It was a very well written and fun story. Not quite enough resolution, but boy did that leave me panting for more.

Gee Pat, do you have to keep posting THAT cover? Every time I see it I'm reminded of a Harlequin romance novel.
