Michael Komarck WoT cover art

Now that's a heck of a nice cover for the eBook version of Robert Jordan's Knife of Dreams.

Michael Komarck is amazing! The illustrations he came up with for the Subterranean Press limited edition of Steven Erikson's Gardens of the Moon were unreal!

You can check out his website here.

If they made new editions with Kormack covers, I'd buy them!

I have to agree with you, Pat, it's an incredible cover! My only beef (yes, I have a beef) is that it practically spoils a pivotal scene in the book for new readers, but beyond that, it's cinematic and captures the moment brilliantly. If you get a chance, tell Michael he absolutely kicks ass. :-)

I haven't read the book (think I stopped at Winter's Heart before deciding to wait until they're all out) but as far as I can tell that cover doesn't reveal anything I could think of. Apart from the fact it looks like an Aeil is throwing fire at Rand...
