I found your blog about 4 months after it had started and I hadn't until a while later got into the habit of adding the good-reveiewed-books to my Amazon WishList just to keep track of all the great books out there. So that's what I do now!
Cheers Pat

Sorry to post again btw. But I was just wondering-are you gonna read the latest and final Harry Potter??!
I know lots of people (generally those who haven't read them, just seen the films) do regard them as YA or even children's books but i still think them some of the best-and certainly most entaining, captivating and rewarding-books I've ever read.
They're accesible on all levels and now with the release of the latest volumes in the series, the age majority of people who read them is turning from child to adult.
So basically...I seriously think you should read Deathly Hallows, mate!! Even if it's just to review the HP book which will break all records and make history for the last time.
HP7 has been solid No. 1 Bestseller on Amazon, etc since October of last year when the title was revealed-before the book was even finished!
Go on, give it a go, just so that I haven't written all this for nothing! =D

Chris: Though I've been enjoying the movies, I was waiting for the entire series to be finished before reading the Harry Potter books. So I will at some point!

Deslily: I'm a huge Donaldson fan. Funny you should mention Fatal Revenant, because I've been bugging Putnam for an ARC or the page proofs for a while now! I'd also like to do an interview with the author later this year...

Ohhh, that would be really neat! I do love his Covenant Chronicles!! I read his website from time to time... at my age (63) I hope I live long enough for the LAST book to come out! Dang it.. he's allowed something like 36 months to write each installment! Back when the Lord Foul's Bane trio came out they were releasing them every 14 months or so.. that I could handle! lol.

(I love Saltheart Foamfollower! I reread the books sometimes just to "meet him again" lol.. )

What a great resource! I look forward to going through that list and seeing what you had to say about some of the books released before I found your blog!

Pat,

I found out about your blog via George R.R. Martin's website and am truly glad I have. I have one question, regarding how to recommend books, which is something I would imagine you are receiving all the time. I would love to hear what you have to say about Janny Wurts, it seems seems like her work isn't hitting the mainstream like so many other authors out there. I personally think she is at least as good as George R.R. Martin. Check out her Series starting with "Curse of the Mistwraith" It only gets better from there in my opinion.
