If all goes according to plan, Dragons of the Hourglass Mage will be released in the summer of 2009.
It's nice to be the bearer of good news. . .;-)
Fantasy and science fiction and speculative fiction book reviews, author interviews, bestseller news, contests and giveaways, etc. Enjoy!

Groovy--my other half's a fan of their Dragonlance books (he doesn't really read much of the non-Weis/Hickman ones).
Pat, did you get an email about Dragonlance-related series that Tracy Hickman will oversee? It's not my cup of tea, obviously, but perhaps some of your readers would be interested in it?
Thats great news Pat!
Thanks!!
Larry: Yes, got it earlier today. But my plate is quite full, and I doubt I'll have time to give it a shot. Which is why I haven't decided if I'll request a review copy or not...
Yeah, I know how it goes with being swamped with matters. I was thinking that all the emailer wanted was a copy/pasting of it, but since my areas of interest don't exactly coincide with the Dragonlance series, I chose not to copy/paste that email into a blog entry.
Pat, you should have mentioned that Matt Bialer is your agent as well.
Folks on the Dragonlance forums don't believe this "rumor" of yours...
Guess they don't know you're our "insider" where fantasy and scifi are concerned!:p

Great news. About time someone at Wizard woke up that had a brain when best selling authors want to write the best character in the series and fans are wanting to read... you let them write the book...
