Tom Canty set up an art gallery of the various illustrations he created for the Subterranean Press limited edition of George R. R. Martin's A Feast for Crows. Think it looks great!?! Too late, for this collector's item is sold out.
I hate to be a drag but these really look like very generic fantasy art. The named characters don't look at all like the characters from the book, and the other scenes don't SEEM to have anything to do with the story.
Thomas Canty's artwork is gorgeous (he's a favorite of mine) but his art nouveau-like style seems somewhat incongruent with Martin's visceral realism. Still, I'm still kinda sad that I didn''t have the money for this limited edition, which I would have bought solely for the the art if I had had the money.

Great paintings but not for this book or any in the series.
