Your Highness Trailer
This looks like it's going to be a cross between The Lord of the Rings and Lesbian Vampire Killers. Should be good! :P

Well it's finished now, but shelved for release until next year. That's never a good sign for a movie.
I think I read April 2011, only a couple months away. Probably waiting until the holiday blockbusters go away...not uncommon for movies to release at strategic times. I don't think it'd do well going up against Harry Potter.
Anyways, I think this looks absolutely hilarious! After watching both seasons of Eastbound & Down, I will now see anything with Danny McBride as comedy gold! I need to go back and watch Pineapple Express since I never did see that one.
Being compared to Lesbian Vapire Killers is never a good sign either. You won't see a worse film...
Magic Motherfucker!
epic...
Filming finished last month and it's due out in April, that's not 'shelved'. It's not even slow as far as releases go.
I doubt it's ready anyway, filming finishing doesn't mean the post-production is.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. Stardust crossed with Superbad is my take on it...
yeah I saw the combination of "Pineapple express" and "Fantasy" and thought.. absolutely.
Thing is though, I think that much like Pineapple express.. lots of people are going to go into this assuming its your run of the mill comedy... And then may be disappointed by it.
Still I hope it does well, and shows that you can make a Comedy/Fantasy hybrid thats better than Krod Mandoon.
They're clearly saving it for April so it can come out on 4/20. Duh.
The gags/jokes in the trailer seem crude for the sake of crudeness. It seems to me this is the type of fantasy comedy the writers of "Two and a Half Men" would make if given the chance.
Holy cow...
Except for the production value (which was excellent) it seemed like the type of movie you'd expect to see Carmen Electra in...NOT Natalie Portman.
Seriously...NATALIE PORTMAN???
I'll definitely be watching this though, it just looks too delightfully weird to pass up.
The fact that no one has yet commented on Natalie Portman's perfect ass makes me think that PFH is nothing but a den of simpering homosensuals! (not that there's anything wrong with that... but COME ON!)
Other than Natalie Portman's almost nude scene (which I have on loop)that movie seems to be on par with Meet the Spartans. Crude is not funny.
I'd rather watch this than the terminally dull Harry Potter. - Ian
Writing something off as worthless simply for not being high-brow or for, gods forbid, having curse words is pretty sad. Comparing it to Meet The Spartans? Please. Does it hurt your neck to keep your nose that high in the air?
It's not like it can be anywhere near as funny as KING ARTHUR with Keira Knightley and Clive Owen. Now that was hilarious. Oh wait, that wasn't a comedy? My bad.
Seriously though this could be hilarious or it could be groan out loud bad. Anyway I'll be seeing it. Natalie Portman = I must see it. And yes I'll be seeing Black Swan (Darren Aronofsky directing = must see even if it is about, sigh, ballet)
