I should have posted this two weeks ago, but somehow it slipped my mind. . . Which reminds me that I should be posting those Wild Cards covers as well. . .

This new sketch from the Dabel Brothers depicts Gear, one of the Hounds of Shadow.

Crappy imagination.

Erikson's hounds aren't dogs painted black with yellow eyes. They are supposed to be huge, able to devour horses. Terrifying things.

Why EVERY damn artist doing Erikson is lacking so much in imagination and makes everything so ordinary?

Erikson is the DENIAL of ordinary.

Um, maybe the person in the picture is standing right next to Gear with his hand on him. That would certainly make Gear huge.

Looks frightening to me. Interesting how some people here have such a strong opinion of what the Hounds don't look like but do not give a description of what they should look like. Anyone?
