I agree: the JV Jones cover is very bad. The Butcher and Gail Martin are not impressive. I like only the Durham and the stephen Deas book covers. sandro50
Absolutely horrid, all of them!! That has got to be some of the worst cover art that I've seen in a long time, especially the art for the novels by J.V.Jones, Tchaikovsky and Deas.
Changes cover at least seems to confirm that Dresden is leaving Chicago, unless there is some sort of Mayan/Incant ritual temple somewhere In Chitown I don't know about?
Changes is different than the normal two word naming convention, like Dead Beat or Small Favor, but hey, it is called 'Changes'!
I like the idea of Changes - theres a lot of interesting things that could change for Dresden, depending on how many story threads get picked up in the book.
And I really like these new Dresden covers, the only ones I own are the old paperbacks with the terrible covers.

That JV Jones is real bad.
"Changes" is kind of a crap name for a Dresden book, disappointing.
American cover art for "Other Lands" is better.
"Changes" is a strange name for a Dresden files book. But the cover is very cool at least.
What? There's a fourth book in the Shadows of the Apt series? Jesus, not another Tad Williams?

Isis,
Tchaikovsky said that The Shadow of the Apt series would run 10 books...
Tor should really find a better artist for JV Jones' covers. And maybe a living author to write the blurb, too.
'Salute the dark' isn't a great title imo. He should have stuck with the insect themed ones 'Dragonfly falling, Blood of the Mantis' etc. =/
When does the Adamantine Palace come to the US exactly?

Where is the Adamantine Palace cover from? I think I like the original cover art better
They say "don't judge a book by its cover", but these all look totally generic. We can only hope the stories within are not so.

The Durham and Deas ones are fine. The JV Jones and Tchaikovsky are the worst, and the Butcher one looks too much like National Treasure.
I'll be, wonder how long until Changes comes out.
