Number 1!

As expected, George R. R. Martin's A Dance With Dragons debuted at number 1 on the New York Times Bestseller list. For more info about this title: Canada, USA, Europe.

The high ranking means that you can now get the book at about 50% off, both online and in bookstores everywhere.

And you can see me die gloriously! :P

Yours was a truly epic death. I couldn't stop laughing. I'm also apparently slow since it dawned on me after the fact where "King's Mountain" came from.

Except Amazon which is still selling at 18+ for hardback. :(

I got it for the 14.99 for kindle. I'd like to get a hardback for the maps though since the kindle maps suck.

I was disappointed you died "off-screen". I was hoping to hear the screams!

And see you trash talk a bit more before your demise!

Selling off the reputation of the first three books. This book was barely better than FOC, and that's not a compliment. Can't wait to here him announce that he will have to add additional two books to finish story lol.

People are using your Star heraldry as a way to explain why certain things happened.

Maybe I am slow too, but where does "King's Mountain" come from?

Anon: People using my death and Ser Patrek's heraldry (the Dallas Cowboys logo, mind you) to solidify their claim that Jon is the Azor Ahai are grasping at straws...

Anon: Montréal means Mount Royal. King's Mountain is a reference to MTL, where I met GRRM in person for the first time.
