I'm surprised it's not a cat on it. After all, the new Memories of Ice cover shows blazing fire, so I thought they were going for opposites on these new themes.
But actually, it's not as bad as the other new ones seem to be.
It just sucks my first 5 mass markets will have the old UK covers, and the next 5 will have the new ones. At least it's half and half, which I can put up with I suppose...
I can't wait to read it, but the cover doesn't do it for me. If I wasn't a familiar of Erikson, I would walk right past that book thinking it was a werewolf novel.
Actually, on fist sight, I kinda like it. The content will be better than the cover anyway, but it reminds me a bit of the (original) DG cover. Which I though was simply awesome.
Um... Ugh. When will publishers learn to give good books good covers... So far the only Covers I've liked so far were the American Hardback covers by Tod Lockwood.

Oh well, don't judge a book by its cover. That goes double for Steven Erikson ;-)
That cover looks pretty sick, yall is nuts.
ugh
I like it! In fact, I like it ALOT!
Well, I'm never satisfied by Erikson's covers.
In this case it gives too much the idea of a spook/supernatural book.
Erikson needs a way instead to transmit the wide scope and scale, and sense of wonder.
