I always find it amusing how all your comps are open to anyone from any country yet for some reason the winners almost always come from the same parts of the world. EG all Europeans here, whereas other comps have solely Canadian or solely US or solely North American winners.
I'm not complaining at all - far from it - you can give away your free books to whoever you want, but you might save yourself some trouble by simply announcing who the comp is really open to so you don't get pointless entries that are discarded based on global location. I'm assuming it has something to do with postage costs or where the publisher is willing to spend cash on postage costs.
Anon 'cause I'm a pansy.
Pansy Anon: Why is it that if Americans win these giveaways, Europeans start to moan. And if Europeans or other foreigners get lucky, I figure that Americans start to bitch.
Meanwhile, this buttcrack is shown no love and has won no contest. And not from lack of trying, for fuck's sake!
Sweet! I won! Thanks man, I'll post a review on fantasy-realm.nl once I finish it!
w00t, maybe i'll win euromillions too one day :)
I wasn't moaning per se, I was just thinking it'd make Pat's life easier and at least not give people false-hope if he stated which territories actually have a chance of winning a certain giveaway.
In the end he can do whatever the fuck he wants but I just think it's silly to receive shitloads of entries from countries that don't have any chance in Hell of winning.
