Ozzy is one of the luckiest people ever, and his success is far more from luck than talent. It is well known he doesn't write song, he wrote a handful on all the many albums he's been on.
In Black Sabbath, Tony Iommi wrote the music and geezer Butler wrote the lyrics. In Ozzy's first solo band, Randy Rhoads wrote the music and Bob Daisly wrote the words. Later, Zack Wylde wrote the music and Daisley and a bunch of hired guns wrote the words. And then Sharon Osbourne screwed several of them out of their deserved royalties! I don't really blame Ozzy, i think he was too befuddled to understand what was going on!
Ah, memories, Pat, memories. A splendid song indeed. Of course his finest years were with the mighty Sabbath, Sabotage being their greatest album, in my humble opinion.
I got to see Ozzy and the original Black Sabbath when they reunited during one of the Ozfest's quite a while back at Giant's Stadium. Ozzy did a whole set of his solo stuff and then Black Sabbath came out and they did their best stuff. And this was after about 8 hours of every other top band around at the time.

RIP Randy Rhoads.
A nice little photo tribute to him in there as well. Now that's a classic song.
(D'oh, meant to say Rhoads, not Rhodes... stupid!)
Crackin' tune!

Was looking for the contact info for the blog and wasn't able to find it...anyone know how I can email Pat? Thanks.
Ozzy deliver an awesome little acting performance in the upcoming game highlight "Brütal Legend".
