New Kids on the Block

There are a great many new faces in the SFF Blogosphere.

If you frequent various message boards, you have undoubtedly come across some of these upstarts!;-) Many have contacted me for advice when they started their blog, and most have linked my site on their own. As you well know, there is very little that I hate more than screwing around with my template. So here's a list of those new SFF bloggers:

- Graeme's Fantasy Book Reviews: http://www.graemesfantasybookreview.blogspot.com/
- A Dribble of Ink: http://aidanmoher.com/blog/

As a matter of course, I figure that I found a way to forget some of them. Sorry about that, if that's the case. My bad. . .

Sorry about the pic, guys. But the temptation proved too great!;-)

Pat, thanks for the shout out! It's terrific that you put together this list of some of us newcomers, it really does seem like there's been a little explosion of bloggers at the moment.

I'm one of those that came to you for advice before starting up A Dribble of Ink and the advice you gave me at the time was invaluable. If there's ever a way for me to repay the favour just let me know!

I've been thrilled with the acceptance that A Dribble of Ink has received from the community, I never thought I'd be able o integrate with you guys so quickly and easily!

By the way... how did you know I was Donny Whalberg?

Thanks for the link but I noticed that the hotlinks are incorrect except for Aidan's. The links say www.blogger.com/www.thefantasyreview.com

I am also one of those that just contacted you to say hello! and to ask about hockey.

As Aidan said in his comment, I am also thrilled by how accepted The Fantasy Review has become in such a short little time.

Can I be the cheeky looking one? ;o) Thanks for the shout, the link and the advice that you gave me before I started out. It's all been much appreciated.
I'll third what Aidan and Remy said about being accepted, it's been a hell of a ride so far!

Thanks for mentioning Fantasy Debut as well. As for being a "new kid", well, everyone has to be one at some point! I'm having a blast and as Remy said, this is a very welcoming crowd!

Like the others have mentioned, thanks for the listing pat.

I've been reading your blog for quite awhile now, and its what made me start my original blog (which is work related, not fantasy book related).

Now if i can just get lucky enough to win one of your contests :)

Argh! Stupid links!

Let me see if the blogger program will get it right...

Sorry about that.

Pat, check your quotation marks inside the anchor tag, that may be the problem.

Nope, this crappy program won't work the way it's supposed to...

So it's the good old-fashioned links, I'm afraid... But at least they work!;-)

Wow! thank you very much Pat! And cheers for the help and advice.

Loving the photo :P

Jeff C--I've been mentioned and I've won a competition ;)

Cheers again (I wondered why my page views had suddenly doubled overnight- sitemeter me alerted by email!)

All the best, Pat

Hrmmm...if these wonderful people are being compared to NKOTB, does that mean that you, me, Ken, Rob, William, and a few others are Menudo then? If that's the case, I'll let you be the Ricky Martin ;)

I would like to be Gene Simmons!;-) I mean, come on! Spitting fire and blood! How cool is that!?!

Anonymous said...

Have you seen Gene Simmons now? You are welcome to be him but you are going to have to get a face lift in a few years!

Hey, hope you had a nice weekend :) Thanks so much for the linkage. LOL at that picture! Good stuff :D

Neth said...

Oh dear - am I really Menudo? I think I'd rather the comparison to tripe than the band ;)
