Another Steven Erikson Q&A + the opening scene from THE CRIPPLED GOD

It took some time for Steven Erikson to answer our interview questions, for he was also in the middle of doing a Q&A with the folks at http://www.malazanempire.com/. And the Holidays made me forget that the interview was now available.

Here's the link.

And as an added bonus, we also get the opening scene from the upcoming The Crippled God!=)

The Crippled God is the light at the end of the tunnel for me. I'll just keep chugging along. I'm about half way through Midnight Tides at the moment. Not to sound like it is work or anything. I love what I'm reading!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Erikson is the man. Everyone should give this series a shot.

Yet another author I'm ashamed to have not got around to yet :( Working on it!

The real question is - when do I start re-reading the series in prep. for TCG? Do I read them all in a row or do I start now and read other books in between? I only started the series in 2007 where I read the first 7 all in a row so it's all still quite fresh in my mind, but I want to re-read now that I understand things so much better. Also I have to re-read Trull's adventures 'cause the dude is a freakin' legend.

Think I'll go for all in a row... SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Indeed!
