A bit of humor. . .
Ok, since the previous comment thread turned into something a lot more serious and confrontational than expected (I believed that people would talk about the steady decline of Christian churches throughout the West. The more fool me, perhaps. . .), I feel we need something to lighten up the mood.
So how about a good old Chuck Norris clip!?!

Oh oh! Don't fuck with the Chuck!
It was a good thing to post that quote, but it was a no-win situation in the end. It was sure to turn into what it became. With pious liberal minds calling anyone who doesn't agree with their point of view bigots and fucktards. Too bad because some people had good points to make, on both sides of the problem. That's politics for you, right?:)
Maybe Chuck Norris should be sent to deal with radical Islamists!?!
P. S. I bet you'll be forced to close down the comments on this thread too...
Okay, to address your original intent, I think the dying of Christianity is wonderful. If only the other heavy hitters would catch up!
And so Chuck lived to make more forgettable movies. Sad! - Ian
Oh Chuck! They only man (besides Wendy Willaims) I know that can face a bear and survive!
Sad as it is, I am with Ted. Lets hope religion will be abandoned in the next 50 years. Nothing good ever came from institutionalized religion.
Gee Gilbert you I would never think you were a bigot or fucktard with that open mind of yours.... more liberal bashing....how original. I've never heard that spouting from the far right before
That bear was not a bear: It was evil incarnate.
I think Chuck should have used the roundhouse kick. Works every time (when you're Chuck Norris).
I'm still disapponted in the last post.
"Nothing good ever came from institutionalized religion."
Johannes Gutenberg invented mechanical movable type printing explicitly to mass produce Bibles and other written religious works. Remember that the next time you drop $8 on a SF/F paperback.
"I'm still disappointed in the last post."
Quoted for truth. I don't want to read a conservative, right-wing fantasy blog any more than I want to read a liberal, left-wing fantasy blog. I recommended Pat's site to my wife as an example to use for her master's English class on fiction writing a few months ago; unexpected ideological bullshit like the previous post makes me regret that suggestion.
Pat,
Delete this post if you don't want it to show up but I was quite amused in a sad and frightened way by all the comments pushing personal agendas on Christianity versus Islam.
The two most populous countries in the world are China and India.
Both are well on there way to becoming the next Superpowers in the world in the next 50 years or so as the Western economies decline.
Neither of them could give a damn about this type of discussion so I can't see that either religion is going to take over the world !
The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire man !
"Nothing good ever came from institutionalized religion."
"Johannes Gutenberg invented mechanical movable type printing explicitly to mass produce Bibles and other written religious works. Remember that the next time you drop $8 on a SF/F paperback."
A very far shot... with a grain of truth tough.
chuck norris does not know fear, it is fear which knows chuck norris
my chuck fact...who says better
tox
Chuck Norris once rode a nine foot grizzly bear through an automatic car wash, instead of taking a shower.
Chuck Norris eats asphalt for the fiber in the morning, and craps driveways in the afternoon.
