Quote of the Day

He summons us beneath the banner of vengeance, and in the name of death. My new friends, the T'lan Imass are going to war.

- NOM KALA, Bonecaster of the Brold T'lan Imass, in Steven Erikson's Dust of Dreams (Canada, USA, Europe).

This one should keep you Malazan fans occupied for quite a while. . .;-)

The mind is spinning at the implications...is that the NEW Hood speaking? Hrmm....

Dude... do you honestly think that all Malazan fans are mindless theory-spinning geeks who are going to froth in the mouth at every single cryptic sentence you throw at them?

Darn right we are! We're proud of it too!!

I would love to be labeled as a Malazan theory-spinning geek but alas, I'm not that well versed enough in the world of Wu to qualify. :(

Holy Hell I've got to get caught up, and quickly! Thanks for this, Pat!

This is one simple example of why the Malazan is the very best, most epic fantasy series out there. There are only two things that have me scrambling for any bit of information I can find: Malazan and LOST.

I hate you Pat... You are a tease!

I realized now that re-reading the Wheel of Time was a mistake, should have re-read the Malazan series..

Pat, I'm the assistant to a famous author who has a new fantasy book published by a major press and he'd like to send it to you for a review. How can I put you in touch with my boss? Can I give him your email?
Thanks,
Spencer

Spencer: You can tell him to contact me via the giveaway email address.

Patrick, this might sound absurd to you, but what is a giveaway email? I looked on your site for an email address but couldn't find one. I'm not the most tech savvy guy. Any more help?
Thanks,
Spencer

just out of interest, as I have yet to read the 8th book, is ganoes paran a part of the 9th or 10th book at all ?
he seemed to start as the main character, and then dwindled into tiny appearences here and there.
